Affiliate Summit Conference and Tradeshow is the biggest event devoted solely to affiliate marketing. Started in 2003 by Shawn Collins and Missy Ward, these events have been held in locations such as New York, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, London and many other cities.
Attendees can hear expert speakers and network with other people who are active in the world of affiliate marketing.
Affiliate Summit gives affiliate marketers, and people who want to break into this type of marketing, the chance to acquire lots of information in a short amount of time. Many of the presenters are highly successful affiliates or people who have run large affiliate networks or marketing firms. Equally important, this is a chance to network and meet people with whom you may be able to form partnerships and strategic alliances. It also gives you a chance to display your own products as an exhibitor and find out what others are offering.
We have two (2) networking passes to give away to our readers!
Please enter the giveaway only if you actually intend to travel to the Affiliate Summit in case you win. These passes cannot be sold or transferred. They also become invalid in the event the conference sells out. That means, in case you win, I will send you the pass codes and you should use them as soon as possible, because the Affiliate Summit ALWAYS sells out.
You CAN upgrade to a higher level ticket by paying the difference only (for example, paying only the difference to upgrade to the VIP pass, which I highly recommend doing. See the full pricing and passes list here). You will need to contact the Affiliate Summit staff in order to do that upgrade. Also, anybody registering for a complimentary pass who neither checks in at the conference, nor cancels, will be ineligible for future complimentary passes.
So enter the giveaway below and let’s meet in Vegas!
A recent event was the Performance Marketing Summit 2015, which took place on September 15, 2015 in San Francisco. Performance Marketing Summit is usually a much smaller event than the Affiliate Summit itself. Presentations included topics such as How to Get PR for Your Company, The New Rules of Engagement, Optimizing Your Affiliate Program and Working With Affiliate Email Marketers.
In addition to the many presentations by experts, there were speed networking events which gave people a chance to meet many others in attendance, a networking luncheon and a cocktail party. Presenters included Affiliate Summit Founder Shawn Collins, Jonah Stein, Founder of ItsTheROI, John Rampton, Founder of Due.com and Jackie Bates, Director of Marketing at LinkConnector.
Affiliate Summit East 2015 took place from August 2-4 in New York, and featured keynote speakers Tim Ash, author of the bestselling book Landing Page Optimization and CEO of SiteTuners and Brian Littleton, Founder and CEO of ShareASale.
I attended Affiliate Summit West 2015 and 2016 and got the chance to finally meet some of the vendors and networks I’ve been working with for the past several years. Also, got a chance to hear about new affiliate programs, tools and techniques, ones that you don’t usually find yourself reading about on daily blogs. The cost of such a trip is surely not insignificant, but in our field, usually getting just one new idea will cover it and more. Not to mention the special offers and terms or discounts and perks you can collect throughout the three days.
The next scheduled affiliate summit is Affiliate Summit East 2016, which will be held on July 31 till August 2nd, 2016 at the New York Marriott Marquis. Some of the speakers who will be at this event include Syed Balkhi, Founder of WPBeginner, John Chow, Zac Johnson and many other well know names in the online marketing world. This 3-day conference will feature many merchants, vendors, educational sessions and networking opportunities. Keynote speakers will be Scott Stratten, president of Un-Marketing. Gary Vaynerchuk will attend the Affiliate Ball. See the full agenda here and list of speakers here.
Next year, Affiliate Summit West 2017 will take place from January 15-17, 2017 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. More details about this event will be available in the near future.
Online marketers often get most of their information from the internet. With a topic such as affiliate marketing, you can learn a great deal online. Since all of the products and strategies related to affiliate marketing are web-based, you may not feel the need to attend live events at all. However, there is a great deal to be gained by meeting people, including industry experts, at an event such as Affiliate Summit.
At an Affiliate Summit, you can experience the dynamic energy of people with similar goals sharing their ideas, products and strategies. The networking opportunities alone can make it worthwhile. In addition to the information you can learn from speakers, other attendees may have products, affiliate programs or marketing strategies you can learn from. Affiliate Summit is also the ideal place to pitch your own product if you want to be an exhibitor.
There are now quite a few live events dedicated to online marketing, but Affiliate Summit is one of the few that’s specifically aimed at affiliate marketers. This conference has been around for 12 years and has gained the reputation of being one of the world’s premier affiliate marketing events.
