2 Affiliate Summit East 2016 Networking Passes
A recent event was the Performance Marketing Summit 2015, which took place on September 15, 2015 in San Francisco. Performance Marketing Summit is usually a much smaller event than the Affiliate Summit itself. Presentations included topics such as How to Get PR for Your Company, The New Rules of Engagement, Optimizing Your Affiliate Program and Working With Affiliate Email Marketers.
In addition to the many presentations by experts, there were speed networking events which gave people a chance to meet many others in attendance, a networking luncheon and a cocktail party. Presenters included Affiliate Summit Founder Shawn Collins, Jonah Stein, Founder of ItsTheROI, John Rampton, Founder of Due.com and Jackie Bates, Director of Marketing at LinkConnector.
Affiliate Summit East 2015 took place from August 2-4 in New York, and featured keynote speakers Tim Ash, author of the bestselling book Landing Page Optimization and CEO of SiteTuners and Brian Littleton, Founder and CEO of ShareASale.
I attended Affiliate Summit West 2015 and 2016 and got the chance to finally meet some of the vendors and networks I’ve been working with for the past several years. Also, got a chance to hear about new affiliate programs, tools and techniques, ones that you don’t usually find yourself reading about on daily blogs. The cost of such a trip is surely not insignificant, but in our field, usually getting just one new idea will cover it and more. Not to mention the special offers and terms or discounts and perks you can collect throughout the three days.
The next scheduled affiliate summit is Affiliate Summit East 2016, which will be held on July 31 till August 2nd, 2016 at the New York Marriott Marquis. Some of the speakers who will be at this event include Syed Balkhi, Founder of WPBeginner, John Chow, Zac Johnson and many other well know names in the online marketing world. This 3-day conference will feature many merchants, vendors, educational sessions and networking opportunities. Keynote speakers will be Scott Stratten, president of Un-Marketing. Next year, Affiliate Summit West 2017 will take place from January 15-17, 2017 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. More details about this event will be available in the near future.
